This was used to light several model builds and is fantastic stuff to work with. I especially like the waterproof gel like coating that protects the LED's. If you want to difuse the light, just sand the gel coat or spray with a flat clear. Or you can paint on a clear tint to change the color. This is great stuff for the price. You do need some soldering skills if you plan to cut it up to smaller pieces.

Product did not work for my uses. Bought the lights with the expectation that they could be used outside since they are waterproof. The lights broke during installation and are useless now. The adhesive was poor and the rubber coating split on a 90 degree turn. I did prep the surface with alcohol prior to applying and they still did not stick. These lights may be good for indoor use but lack durability for outside.
