Have been looking for a light that I could use between two chairs in my living room. The lights are not height adjustable, but they do have the ability to swing around so that I can adjust them as I need too. The base fits under my side table and its heavy enough that my grand kids have a hard time moving it around. The best part is that the light is very bright (is a cool white light) and because it's LED, the light never gets hot and cannot burn little fingers. It was well worth the price.
