I purchased 3 of the GE 17448 remote controlled light fixtures from Walmart for $44.88, or $14.96 each less tax. Installation couldn't have been simpler; together they can be used to provide enough light to meet most nonstandard requirements; batteries are easy to change out, and best of all it only takes one of the IR remotes to switch all of the LED fixtures on or off at the same time.

I bought this light from local Walmart for $14.96 plus tax. It is bright enough to illuminate any wardrobe, closet or pantry or any other such often poorly illuminated corner of homes. It is well built and can be mounted with included stickers or screws. The package even comes with a double marked paper that will guarantee problem free installation. The best part is that the included remote uses IR sensor and can be placed virtually anywhere in the room.

The main light runs on 6 AA batteries while the remote runs on 3 AAA batteries. I use Sanyo NEW 1500 eneloop 8 Pack AA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries and Sanyo NEW 1500 eneloop 4 Pack AAA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries.

These are good, bright lights and the remote button is handy. On problem, though...The lights use battery power even

when off. Because I use rechargeable batteries, I remove the batteries during long periods of non-use.

Product arrived timely and is as pictured. I bought five. They all work off one remote which is nice. Not quite as bright as I would like but still puts off nice glow under kitchen cabinets. Batteries ran out quickly after 6 weeks ... we didn't use them that often; perhaps 5 hours a week. I might buy again.

The light can be installed with screws but the remote comes with only adhesive Velcro strips. The lights work fine, decent light but non directional. A problem with having several is that they are all on the same frequency so some of the others will turn on too. This is a pain because you have to figure out how to get them all off again to avoid eating batteries. They don't always get the signals so I wind up resetting the lights by the manual switch on the side.
