I'm using this as a facial esthetics lamp and love it. The light is identical to day light and isn't blasting bright. The neck bends and flexes better than the clunky, heavy lamps on the market for esthetcs. Highly recommend for estheticians!

I was getting ready to buy this lamp from Amazon when I read what the reviewer said about buying the one from abc distributing. I wanted to save the money of course, so I ordered it and took it to my dad. I was very embarrassed to give it to him. The lens is so distorted that you really can't read or do any sort of craft. If you keep moving your book around you can see the print sort of clearly in SOME areas. It is horrible and I would definitely not recommend it. I am giving 2 stars because I am not sure if the Amazon one is better than this and didn't want to be unfair to Amazon because I do love everything I buy through Amazon... but it really does look like the same lamp.
