First, I have bought several LED Floods of this style before and have always been extremely satisfied, that's why it was no big deal to get another. This was not the same construction as the others that look like it, it is made from a different material and the screws aren't put in well. There is no L/N/PG marking which wasn't a big deal for me because it is the same as the others I've had, but before I ever lit it up I could tell it was different and I didn't like it. Upon lighting it up, it just wasn't bright. Not to say it doesn't light up, but I have a 10W of the same style and side by side this light wasn't any brighter. In fact my Kobi 18W bulb was definitely brighter. I use a good number of LED lights with my business and I would be ashamed to install this for someone, but I also don't want it for myself because it doesn't compare to the others I've gotten in the past. It was supposed to be sold by Loftek and fulfilled by amazon, but when I received it said sold by Fei Da Ming which is definitely not who I was ordering from. I will for sure avoid this specific light and am now skeptical of buying any of this style flood light on amazon.

These lights came with no directions or wiring diagram. Important since wires are blue, brown, and yellow/green. I figure that green/yellow to be ground and was going to use a meter to determine common. Meter would not read. I opened the light to find the yellow/green wire to be connected to nothing! It was just put in to give the illusion of ground.Once I did install the lights, they work very well. low power draw, excellent illumination and tone.

I got mine, and as described the wire colors were not the standard black/white. however they follow the european standard brown (black), and blue (white). the yellow grn stripe is our earth gnd.i performed the recommended exploratory surgery and found that the yellow/grn is heatshrunk to a black wire and the wire stuffed into one of the enclosure srew holes. i guess its an attempt. there could have been a ring lug crimped to the wire, but i guess they at least took the review to heart and tried something.
i connected mine to a motion detector. the motion detector uses a relay to interupt the feed. i found some odd behavior that the LED has a dim flicker when off that i cannot explain.
i used a voltmeter and there is no voltage on the LED feed.
i hooked it up anyway, we'll see if it blows up or not.
I am pleased with the intensity of the light, it lights up the critters in the recycle bins just fine.
the old ldy doesn't have to carry a stick to beat the cans anymore.
