I put these in my bathroom vanity. They are much brighter than expected. They do have a tiny delay, which I estimate to be about a third of a second. It doesn't bother me. I'm itching to buy more and replace all my bulbs, but I'm trying to use up all my CFL first. After seeing the performance of these, I will not buy another CFL. Three of these in a ceiling fan fixture light our living room nicely. I've purchased 4 of these so far and intend to purchase more.Highly recommend!

The color and brightness of this bulb make it a perfect replacement for a 60W incandescent A19 or PAR20 bulb where the application does not require an omnidirectional distribution of light or dimming. The color temperature almost exactly matches an incandescent bulb, and in a desk lamp or can light in my view it is impossible to tell the difference. The size is almost the same too, while some other LED bulbs tend to be a bit longer. Plus unlike some other LEDs bulbs which I also like, this one stays remarkably cool. You can touch the heat sink after the bulb has been on for several hours and it just feels pleasantly warm. And unlike a CFL it is of course instant on at full brightness.
It's not quite as efficient in terms of lumens per watt as some other LED bulbs I am using from G7, but it is at least as good as a CFL and has none of the associated drawbacks.
The price is a bit on the high side, otherwise I'd be buying dozens of these bulbs to retire my CFLs. If the price suits you, buy this bulb with the confidence it performs as specified.
Honest reviews on HitLIghts A19 Warm White (2700K) AffordXII 12W LED Light Bulb
I've tried a number of LED bulbs, and have them installed throughout the house. This one is reasonably good. What I like:
Nice and bright. It does seem to meet the lumens rating.
What I think is acceptable, but not great:
1. Color is not quite what I would call "warm white". It's a little bluer than incandescent, but acceptable.
2. Light is somewhat directional. Not much light goes to the sides. I put it in an overhead light (not a lamp), so the directional nature is not as objectionable.
I still like the Philips bulbs the best for light color and directionality.
