I have several glass or crystal tea candle holders I use around the house. You need to be aware that even though these Inglow flameless candles are advertised as "white" in the description, they are more yellowish in person (as can be seen in the picture). This will affect the appearance and often not replicate the look you are used to with a real tea candle. What I did is develop a set of tea candle holders that look nice with the battery-operated device, and for special occasions i still use the traditional light.
On the plus side besides the safety aspect:
these last about two days of continuous use before they start fading (it will take at least 4 days before they die out completely)
they can be put in spots where there is not enough clearance to safely put a traditional candle, like on bookshelves
On the negative side:
the battery compartment opening mechanism is very cheaply designed. It is the kind where you use the side of coin to rotate the compartment until it opens. But instead of screwing into the back of the candle, the lid is secured with two little pieces of plastic that break very easily. It would have worked much better to have a lever you can press to release the lid like in other models
Useful product, but on account of the light not being as white as stated, and the poor battery compartment opening mechanism, I give it 3 stars.

The flames break off incredibly easily. I bought these to use with my homeschool kids to make astronomy crafts. I don't expect them to be super durable for the price, but I knocked one of the flames off and I was not being rough at all. I do expect to be able to reuse a product that I buy specifically for its reusability. I won't be purchasing these again if we need LED tea lights.
