The retractable band on this was a nice surprise. It works great for wearing on your head or wrist. I've even attached it to branches and a trekking pole for an improvised lantern. All the setting you could need sandwiched in between two off switches so that you can have white or red light right a single click away from the off position.
I would love to see Petzl integrate a mini usb port w/ rechargeable battery into this model (or slightly larger model) so I can ditch the extra batteries and use my backup usb battery that I charge my smartphone with.
