I bought this to help my kids who are scared of the dark, but I was tired of leaving hall lights on at night. A cartoon face lights up their room at night and I can turn of lights now. This is also the first night light of many that they leave plugged into the wall, all others get pulled out, lost and broken.

I bought this light for my 3 year old as a stocking stuffer for xmas. We have cathedral ceilings about 14' and this projects a perfect spongebob on the ceiling about 3' that my son can look at while he is falling asleep. Only con is that it projects a circle image and his name is square pants. Still working six months later and turns off by light sensor. This night light is so worth the money! It projects very nicely and has a tilt feature so you can point it where your child can see it best. My favorite part is the sensor so it doesn't stay on all day. It's automatic. No fuss!
