I bought 8 of these for my bathroom, looking for brighter lights with a more natural color temperature. The bluer light helps your appearance in a mirror seem more like it would in daylight, so far I highly recommend this color temperature for a bathroom. However, I would advise against mixing color temps in a single room so be sure you are ready to replace all the lights in a room.
These are low profile which makes them more likely to be compatible with fixtures designed for incandescent bulbs. The true test will be how long they last, CFLs generally have a shorter life expectancy when turned on and off frequently (like in a bathroom).

Other than one that I broke on accident, all of them are still working as intended. They see frequent use (more than 10 on/off cycles and 4 hours of use per day).nice bulb, though at shaw's you only need &3.50. a bit sad about the price! but it is convenient to shop here
