Don't even waste your time or money. I had invested in well over 50 cree made bulbs and in less than a year all, and I mean ALL, have failed and been replaced. These were used in normal lighting situations and all failed in varying ways, but probably all tied to bad electronics. I don't normally write reviews but I felt compelled to because of the inferiority of Cree products and the fact that I wasted so much time and money on these. Also, stay away from any bulbs that resemble these. They're all the same and terrible.

These bulbs produce a good, crisp light exactly as described. They dim well even with my Insteon dimmer (which uses PWM). I'll buy more and look forward to trying the warm color variant for other locations (this went into the track lights over my workbench).

Note that the specs on this bulb are wrong. The specs table says 3000K but the title says it's a 6000K bulb. The title is correct and the specs are wrong it's a 6000K bulb.
