The light quality is fine, but this thing weighs about 2 oz and when it dropped from the packaging to the table as I unwrapped it, the plastic cover shattered. This is a fine product if you don't plan on actually handling it often, but if you might bump it or have kids, look for another. it's really junk.

This little night light puts out just the right amount of light for a dark hallway. I bought the light for my 90 year old mother who gets up in the middle of the night to visit the restroom so she won't bump into the walls with her walker. She said it works great!
