Well I gotta say, it's pretty dim compared to my previous 20W lamp. But at ~3W of consumption (estimated) it may be worth it. It illuminates my keyboard, which is really all I wanted. It doesn't get hot like my previous lamp. The styling is not great; it's a little bloated... not exactly sleek or modern. The light arrived on time in great condition. I'm using it now as I type this review. It more than surpasses the previous halogen light which constantly burnt out. I just received this lamp and will be returning it. It does not shed very much light at all and is very tinny looking, with painted plastic base and lamp.
