If you can spin these and not have them touch or hit anything AT ALL, then these are really great especially because they have 6 different modes. Otherwise they are just great for appearal or for young children. IF YOU ARE BEGINNING POI AND WANT CHEAP L.E.D.'s TO SPIN, DONT GET THESE. They will break on the first hard impact. I bought this light because I run a pedicabs business in Houston, Texas... Ready 2 Roll Pedicabs. I thought they could help my crew be more visible at night, they are pretty visible at night. No complaints here. It lights up the night like it should and its decently priced. I'm not sure how long the battery lasts but its so affordable I could just buy another when the batteries eventually run out.
