You know...it's rare to find that someone has invented the exact product that you need for an unusual situation.

We have a strange lighting system in the kitchen. Two bulb outlets inset into the sealing. Once you put the bulb in they face each other, and not down so basically, lighting is ridiculously low. Terrible design. I wanted bulbs to face down from the ceiling, and this little guy did the trick. I was able to change the directions to my liking as well.

So if anyone has strange bulb outlets that aren't positioned to your liking or you need to re-direct the lighting...THIS is your tool. We've been using it for a year now.

Affordable AND perfect. Can't ask for more.

it does nor hold the weights of heavy LED bulbs in downward direction at an angle. gravity tends to bring it back to straight down position.

I'm using these to point two led par type lamps in my kitchen, they actually blend very well with my lamps and other fixtures. It has nice build quality, it also is a decent length to point light just about anywhere you would need to!

The flexible metal is really pliable and stays in place. I will buy more when I need to point directional light again, and I would recommend this fixture to anyone using par lamps or just wanting to upgrade their current fixtures.

sadly the price of this item reflects the quality, the pole is heavy (which in my case wasn't good as I had an outlet adapter I wanted to use it with and it would cause the adapter to come out of the wall outlet when I put a heavy let bulb on it), but you can't fault it for that as perhaps you could say it wasn't meant for heavy bulbs (but the world is switching to LED bulbs so it does matter) now for the part that makes it a bad buy: when I tried screwing it in into the ceiling socket it cause the pole to come out of the base and is now being held poorly in only by weak friction, otherwise it will just fall out and hang by wires. There is threading but it can't be screwed back in as far as I can tell and try as there is no threaded base to screw it back in to, and if there is the wires are in the way and regardless it won't screw back in. So, unless you want to try your luck with super glue or modify it somehow then try and let me know how it works out please.

Base actually cracked and separated from the threaded part. Had to remove the insrt with needle-nose pliers. Couldn't repack and return this fast enough.
