I bought these on a leap of faith. I had gone to the hometown hardware store and paid at least $6.00 each for other bulbs. When I found these in Amazon, I couldn't believe I was reading the price correctly. I purchased them thinking that even 50% of them worked it would save me a fortune. I installed three lamps that day and that was three months ago. They burn bright every night. Just remember to wear gloves when you install any of these small, high intensity light bulbs. Skin oil will super-heat and actually cause the bulb to fail. I recommend this for purchase

Seriously, have you checked out other prices for these bulbs? This is almost too good to be true, except that they are great bulbs. So happy to save some money on my patio lights.

I am writing to stat that BEFORE buying this bulb LOOK at the one that you replacing, I just bough a new trailer and this is what I found out. If the wire on the bulb is 20gauge or larger this bulb will not work in your socket, the NEW bulbs are 24gauge wire and do not stay in the socket, to make them work you will need to bend the wire so it will stay in to the socket, this not worth the time and it will also screw up the socket. the buy of the year I was paying a lot more in home depot and they are the same kind of bulbs they work just fine
