I purchased this item in hopes that it would be a more cost-effective to buy in bulk for the same price that I would have paid for 2 bulbs at the local home improvement store. I was very wrong!! These bulbs, although they appear to be exactly the same and have the same specs called for by the lamp which needed to have a replacement bulb installed, failed terribly!!
This bulb is longer than that which it is trying to be the generic replacement for. I struggled to try and pop this bulb in so I could finally have light in my bedroom. The first two broke because they were too long by only 1 or 2 mm's. That is monumental when deaing with bulbs of this size.
The third one was successfully inserted -and there was LIGHT!! But only for a few minutes because the pressure being placed on the bulb from the contacts on each end then caused the bulb to burn out.
I tried a few more times and broke those bulbs as well. Being frustrated I finally gave up trying to save a few bucks and went down to the hardware store and asked for help. The person working in the Lighting Department was very familiar with the light fixture I own and assured me that the bulbs should just pop right in without having to pull or utilizing a spring-loaded contact which is what the articles on the internet indicated would be the case.
I bit the bullet and paid $8.00+ for two replacement bulbs from a brand name company went home and who would have known..... it popped right into place without breaking or anything.
Stay aways from this wanna-be product -it doesn't perform even though it looks like a close match!!

My outside lamps come on at dusk at low level then any movement turns them on full,This means that they are up and down all the time for about 4 hours.
After 4 hours they revert to off unless they detect movement then they
come on for 3 minutes.
These lamps have run good for temperatures between 24F to 75F no problem.
The previous lamps from HD I had lasted a few weeks
