This is a great product. Fun and easy to use. It comes with the pre-programmed remote, but, if you know how to program and what a micro controller is, you can really make the lights do some fun stuff. I put them on my house for x-mas. Be aware that (and this is why I am giving it 4/5 starts and not 5/5) the lights are individual red, green, and blue. They are not like the 5050's where the LED emits various colors. These emit fewer shades and have separate red, green, and blue LED's. I have been very satisfied with this product and the company who shipped them.
