Not quite bright enough to light a table, these are more like table candles and are good for atmosphere. They recharge easily during the day when place upside down. So far they've survived a few heavy rains when we forgot them outside.

While these little candle lights are perfect for evenings on the patio....they WILL NOT turn off "when inverted"! I am keeping them because I really like their very soft light and will use them when entertaining. The auto turn off when inverted is the reason I chose these over others. Item arrivedbut we did not use for a few weeks as we were travelling. By the time we did the window for return was closed otherwise would have returned. Light was extremely dim. And design is flawed in that when you turn upside down to chargethe base is not flat but rounded. Charging worked poorlyfor about a week then gave up the ghostno longer lights even dimly. A complete waste of money. Item is cheaply made and light (when it worked which was very briefly) was less than the dimmest night light. This was a terrible purchase.
