I wanted a nice lamp to put on my new deck. And I wanted to go solar so I can be 'green'. I was so excited when I read that these use a natural light color. My first night on the deck I was so pleased with the light color. it puts out a beautiful soft light and it is very bright. It is very similar to an indoor light bulb. I was so excited I even invited my neighbors over and they were equally impressed. The instructions were challenging to understand and when I figured them out, installation turned out to be super easy and the quality seems very good. I have tried other solar lamps, but I could never get used to the intense white light color they put out. It says it has a hi/lo brightness switch which is very small and hard to read. The difference in light output is not that great.
Overall a terrific looking lamp and I'll definitely another for my mailbox column.
