works just as rechargable flashlight but when i push it all the way in my power source in the car it doesn't get more bright like my other one did,so i could use it like a night lite in the car.The other one i have gets bright when plugged in,but then doesn't work as a flashlight,What the heck,wish i could remember what company i got my original one from but the head kept coming unglued and i got sick of gluing it back on,but it worked great while it lasted about 5 years

The only draw back is that you have to remember not to leave it charging for more than 2 hours or the lite could be ruined. It is bright and I leave it in the console for just in case situations.

I imagined I would leave this plugged into a remote 12v socket and have it ready when I needed it, but the instructions say not to leave it plugged in for more than a few hours. Really? I have better things to do than worry about how long a little gadget has been plugged in. Other than that, I guess it's ok.

I thought this was a regular flash light so I am dissapointed but not the sellers fault its my fault for not reading it better
