I bought these for a cheap giveaway for a 'career' day presentation for my daughters' 2nd grade class, and was so impressed with the quality for the price, that I bought 500 to use for camping this summer. It was a nice switch-up from the usual "glow bracelet" things that we have done for years. We get about one 'dud' in every 15-20 lights (not bad at all). The elastic bands are easy for the kids to get on and off and they don't break. The lights last a VERY long time. I have ever used them as reading lights. We have bought these over and over again. FABULOUS product! I'm pretty picky these are a great buy!

These "Rave" light now have an elastic band that fits over your finger.Work fine, but 6 of 40 did not work when I opened, then tested them. Emailed
vendor, and they suggested I press the plastic housing where the batteries are
located. Informed them that did not work so asked for replacements. No email response
after 2 weeks.
For the price, OK, but factor in a DOA percentage in your buying decision.

Great for the price. We used them to light up a field at night by taping them to cones. Looked AMAZING. only thing stopping them from getting 5 stars is that some of them got stuck in the on position and would not turn off. But at .50 cents a pop, who cares. Lasted FOREVER, the stuck ones were still going after two full days of being on. LED ONHonest reviews on 40 Super Bright Finger Flashlights - LED Finger Lamps - Rave Finger
Not to be mean, but most of the "DOA" are NOT really "DOA!!!" The science behind these doesn't get any easier than batteries, two contact points, and an LED. Most if not ALL of the "DOA's" just need to be taken apart and have the SHORTER of the two contact pins from the LED slightly adjusted! Pain in the butt I know, BUT we're not exactly paying top dollar for a hi-tech computer system sending men to Mars! Just make sure you put a piece of clear tape around the back end after putting it back together (CAREFULLY taking it apart).I have purchased these before and am about to get another 2 or 3 sets of 40 because the kids just LOVE them! I will be giving the 4-packs to kids my 8 y/o girls softball team and boys 8 y/o boys hardball team!
The BEST usage and effect??? You want YOUR kid to be the TOTAL ENVY of every kid in the neighborhood ??? Stagger a red, white, and blue one on the spokes of both tires on their bikes!!! Simply unloop the rubber band and slide a Zip-Tie throught the slot and anchor them to the spokes! At dusk/dark they can simply flick the buttons on them ... AND BELIEVE ME .. IT REALLLLLLY LOOKS COOL as they streak down the street.... and the kids TOTALLY FREAK OUT!!!!
Besides .... 10000000x better than reflectors! Just make sure they/you turn them off when they come in to save battery life!
MINE LOVE IT!!!

I ordered these led lights because of how the product was advertised...."Uses 3 AG10 batteries included. Super Bright, Long Life. Hook & Loop Straps. Uses 3 AG10 batteries included"
These do not use AG10 batteries, they are LR41(of course they are included, batteries are not replaceable) They do not have hook and look straps as they are pictured as having. They also are not pictured as having red, green, blue and white lights. They appear on Amazon to have all the same white light, which is what I was looking for. I am very disappointed. FALSE ADVERTISING, Amazon should pull this until they change the write up and the picture. This is the first time I have received an item from Amazon that was not as pictured and advertised. Two of the 40 did not work, 3 of the 40 only worked when turned on and squeezed (A fair average for the price). They will work for one of my applications but not for the other. They were OK for the .20 cents but they were NOT what they were advertised to be.
