I found this product after actually looking for Philips ambient LED Bulb and decided to give it a try and I am glad I did.

Philips retails for $23 this bulb I purchased for $21+shipping (only regret I purchased too early, now they offer free shipping and even better price).

Cons:

1) Non-dimmable (not really a con though, but keep in mind).

2) Not omnidirectional (again, depends on where you want to use it it is absolutely okay, sometimes even better, since omnidirectional bulbs point more light to sides than to the top.)

Pros:

1) Noiseless literally emits no noise even when you put your ear right on the bulb.

2) Very low heat emission.

3) Very high quality construction feels like an expensive bulb.

4) This is the only LED bulb in my house that does not irritate my eyes (not sure about a reason).

5) Most environmentally-Friendly bulb on a market. Highest power efficiency (as per manufacturer statement).

6) Eye pleasing white color (not yellowish or bluewish, pure white).

7) Flicker-free. Maybe this is a reason why my eyes don't get irritated by this one.

8) The best value for the price so far. $22 for 1065 Lumen roughly 2 cents per lumen.

Over all I am very confident recommending this product. I can not say about it's longevity, but I will report problems if any will happen.

I can't be happier with this bulb. I received it almost a week sooner than I expected and I wanted to use it for my bathroom, but this thing is just so bright. I ended up using this one for living room. This was a test purchase for me and I need to say that I am completely sold and will convert all my apartment and office into LED.

I did not expect such a performance from an LED Bulb, my friend showed me his LED bulbs and told me about energy saving possibility as well as possibility to reduce heat build-up in my apartment in summer (I live in Florida and it gets very hot in here). So far so good. In fact I think these bulbs are much better quality that the ones that my friend showed to me. His bulbs flicker slightly and light color was too blueish, these ecoLights however are not. Color of the light is perfectly white, very close to the one that you get from a standard bulb. I am so happy with this purchase!

I can't say anything about bulb lifespan since it's only been a week since I purchased the bulb, but I will update this review if I experience any problems with it.

Also it's very heavy whole bulb is made of metal (aluminum?). I highly recommend this bulb not only to people who use LEDs for night light, but also for those who want conventional bulb replacements for living room and office. I also tried to compare it to 60 and 70 watt standard bulbs and this ecoLight outbrights them both.

Received sooner than expected. Excellent light quality very eye-pleasing warm white light, very soft. Noiseless, unlike my other LED bulbs. I did not expect such light quality from LED, but I was pleasantly surprised. My other LEDs that I have, seem imperfect now compared to the light color and brightness of this one. I realized that my other bulbs deliver greenish light... I had nothing to compare with before, but now it's obvious.

Works as advertised, looks great, turns on instantly. Very bright and does not get too hot. Color accuracy is much better than CFL.

I use this bulb for my bathroom and my skin looks so much more natural than it used to under my CFL lightbulb light. One more happy customer :) 5 out of 5, thank you!

I bought this light just to see what the big deal with led lights was. Aside from the price (which is the primary reason why I've avoided LED lights in the past) this light is perfect for my office. I previously used a standard 80W lightbulb in my lamp. The light was very low in the room and often I found myself struggling to see. Once I switched to the LED bulb I don't have that problem any longer. The light is very bright and surprisingly the bulb is touchable even after hours of use. I'm pretty sure my previous lightbulb was a fire hazard. Overall I would certainly recommend this lightbulb to anyone looking for a change.

I would say this bulb isn't quite a 100 watt equivalency, but it is relatively close. The light is a bit bright (not quite the warm white of my other bulbs), but it doesn't bother my eyes (that is, it is acceptable, clear white light). If you have sensitive eyes, you might want to consider some other choices, but for most people this bulb should be fine. It (the metal part) does get quite warm (maybe HOT)fairly quickly, so I would suggest that you don't try to remove it after having had it on for a while until it cools down. It is a fairly heavy bulb, much heavier than any of my prior bulbs, period.
