Pros: This is a superb white light. Even the highest rated compact fluorescents don't come close to the pure white light that this one produces. Try a simple test. What color does "bright white" copy paper appear to be under the light in question? With every-day incandescents, the paper is a sickly yellow color. With most "daylight" compact fluorescents, the paper is blue. With this Bulbrite 250 Halogen bulb, the paper is a wonderful bright white.

this is a good low cost halogen bulb that delivers excellent light from my torchiere up-light. It is much better than the low power incandescents that are only limited available from the local Target or grocery store.

I needed to replace one of my White Lightning x800 strobes modeling light which burned out a few days before a shoot fast and cheap. So I one clicked my amazon prime and paid the additional 3.99 to have it overnighted. It arrived the day before the shoot. DOA. Yikes!, I know! Jumped online and filled out the return form. Amazingly Amazon overnighted its replacement stat. I received it 2 HOURS before the shoot, worked great. Another happy ending from Amazon.
