I just received it earlier today so I haven't put it through any durability test but it feels very solid and well built. Once I had the battery charged and popped the battery in and turned it on I was amazed at how bright it was. Not only was it extremely bright but the distance it's able to throw the light is unbelievable. The charger has a led light that lights up red when it's charging (I didn't record the time needed to charge it) and lights up green when it's done. The beam of the light can be adjusted to throw a smaller beam or it can flood an area by sliding the head of the light down closer to the body. It also has a clip screwed onto the body of the light which seems to be very durable as well. The packaging did look very poor but don't let the packaging fool you, for the money (I spent $10.49) this is THE best flashlight I have ever seen for this price and this size.

I was a little disappointed at first as I was to understand at time of order that this unit came with a battery and charger. After the item was ordered, I checked back and the description had changed to "battery and charger not included". However, I waited patiently because i knew that some of these lights would be compatible with a normal AA battery. Luckily for everyone involved, this light did take a normal AA battery. I must say that disregarding the feeling that I was initially mislead, WOW what a GREAT LIGHT!!!!! I took it outside and blasted into a tree nearby and it was like daylight! Its zoomable which is great but the spotlight is accurate and bright up to around 200 yards. I would have given 5 stars if I didn't feel mislead. Now that the seller has changed the description, I still would buy this light knowing that it takes a AA battery. BUY THIS LIGHT!!!!!
