I have had two of these, (incandescent), in my garage for about 8-10 years and they have done well until one finally stopped working. I researched these and now there is an led version. I decided to get a couple of led lights to replace my incandescent ones. Upon receiving them I realized they were incandescent rather than led. I notified Amazon prior to my order I thought the description was wrong and they assured me they would fix it. When I went back a week or two later to purchase the lights I thought the description was fixed. Unfortunately that is not the case. Determine from Amazon which one you are truly getting.

This motion activated night light works very well. The motion sensor can move so you can angle to the correct position. I use this in my hallway at night when you just need a little light.

Works well. Motion sensor has a good range and wide angle. Larger than most night lights. Reviewer Mike V is correct that the bulb is not an LED it is a small 7 watt bulb similar to the old-style large XMAS light bulbs. However, this night light has a motion sensor built in so it only comes on when there is movement in the room and goes off in a few minutes, so it is usually off. I bought a few of these night lights eight months ago and they continue to work fine. I am now ordering more for other locations. Night light and bulb made in China of off-white plastic.

Throws a "much better" light then the LED's. I want the light to wash the area and unlike the led's that cover a smaller area.A hard item to find these days since LED has taken over. I'll stick with what I have known to work best.

The L7005 specs for the product states, "Type of Bulb LED." The L7005 Night Light with Motion Detector product I received was incandescent even came with a spare bulb.
