So far i have purchased two on these LED candy lamps. Because they are LED the quality of the daylight like lit area for such a compact lamp is impressive. The weighted base is nice and small 3x5 and the switch is easy to use. the design is contemporary and refreshing.

The lamp tube that holds the bulb rotates. 360 degrees . The hinge allows the lamp head to be raised to vertical all the way to a right angle but it does not fold straight down. It is energy efficient and a very long life bulb . I have used it for several hours in battery mode as well and loved it.

I have not had it for long , so time will tell if it will hold up , i just may buy two more cool to the touch candy lamp for my weaving studio for each loom. They are not inexpensive like clamp on lights but again the have options clamp ons do not have , like they run on batteries and are LED and stylish with many color options.

UPDATE:

I have 7 of these lamps now. I am so very happy with there quality over the past year of use . I have recomended them and now my friends are buying multiple lamps too because they are so perfect for so many places around the house, studio, office.

Now i wish that they would come out with a tall floor lamp model . I continue to be very impressed with its preformance and appearence.

Great product. I love the rechargeable feature as I sometimes move the lamp around at night. I thought it wouldn't be so solid but the lamp has a very sturdy feel. I have the Yellow and am thinking about buying another color.

I bought two of these and love them. They looks so delicate and works so beautifully. It is not a lot of light but it is enough to sit and my desk and grade papers.

This is a super little reading light. It casts light just onto the desk surface.

Perfect when you have no power and want to read but LED lanterns shine in your face.

It powers off AC, rechargeable batteries, or USB. It is stylish, pretty, and well-made.

I have the blue one. It comes in many colors.

I was looking for an LED desk lamp and researched this purchase for weeks before deciding on this one. I almost decided to just go with an incandescent lamp after seeing how expensive most LED's are, especially after seeing the small amount of light that they generally put out. I was ready to order another lamp when I saw this one. The price was right. I was also intrigued by the rechargeable battery and the USB plug, so I decided to give it a try. I'm really glad I did!

First, I have to say that this is such a cool looking light. The color is great and it's sleek and modern. It is also reasonably bright. I bought this one and took it to my office and found that the red color, while really great, didn't really match my office, so I took it home to use as a bedside lamp. Then I got on Amazon again and ordered the green one for my office. They are both wonderful!

Now the details. This light is very well made very solid and surprisingly heavy. I have a tendency to put lots of stuff on my nightstand and was afraid that I might knock it off, but its weighted base keeps it securely where I put it. The light is bright enough to read by, and it is easy to adjust the light to where you need it. It comes with a wall plug with a USB cord, so you can plug it into the wall or a computer, and the battery comes in handy for outages, or for when I need a light where there is no outlet. I suppose the only down side is that the light is very white. This doesn't bother me, but if you're looking for a warmer light go with something else. If you're looking for a reasonably priced LED though, you can't go wrong with this one.
