Installed these to replace some overheads in a bookcase; easy to install since they have spring loaded "wings" to hold once placed into the hole. They are setup to wire to 120v through a small converter again very easy. They don't dim to well, but this could be a function of the inline dimmer that was legacy from the old lights. Runs much cooler and as stated in the headline they are directional so I was able to reduce glare to the viewer when installed. Hopefully I will never have to replace the lights in the bookcase again!
