I loved this little item. Plenty of light. Not too heavy to wear. But just as I was becoming very attached to this great little light, the switch stopped working and now it's just a paper weight with straps. Oh well, a week and a half of blissful utility is better than no use at all right? Maybe I can convert it into a slingshot!

it sheads a lot of light but its big and a little too heavy on the head after awhile, what with 3 AAA's and all. plus, it kept getting turned on in my backpack. great for around the cabin, running to the loo or the generator.

I love, Love, LOVE this headlamp! In fact, this is the second one I purchased. I specifically looked for this one after my first one was dismantled by somebody (I know not whom--but it was NOT my kids, as they weren't present where it was being used!) and part of it was lost, making it inoperable. I tried to get by without one of these for just a few days, but I just HAD to have a replacement, for reasons stated below:

I use this headlamp all the time! It's great for working outside in the dark, or inside in dark locations. The various light settings are wonderful, as well. I'm "cheap" (er, frugal) so I often use this on the lowest setting, but when I need more light, all I have to do is press the button, which is easily accessible. The first couple of times I used it, I did admittedly feel a bit silly looking, but I quickly got over that when I realized how much this freed up my hands to use for whatever I was trying to do, thus making jobs in the dark go SO much faster! (I once had a girlfriend whose dad mowed the lawn at night, since it was too hot during the day, and he walked around literally with a flashlight in his mouth! This is SO much better than that, for sure!)

Battery life appears to be good on this, and it's not really heavy at all on your head. I usually wear it over the top of my ballcap, and I often make use of the tilt feature that lets me point it down where I'm going without having to move my head about.

If you're looking for a headlamp, you should DEFINITELY consider this one! It's the only one I have been satisfied with!

I say that this is a hard review to write because I enjoy using this light and the amount of light it produces is great, but there is a "but."

This item was purchased as "New," and arrived looking "new," but it was clearly repackaged. The evidence, a package that says "batteries included," but with no batteries included. The second issue, I have, is with the lens cap it is weak and broke rather quickly. This was remedied by some tape.

The weight of the unit with batteries is not heavy and allows the unit to set on your head rather comfortably.

The amount of light it emits is great!

So I cannot give 5 stars for quality and service issues, but I can give it 3 stars.

These lights are awesome!!! I bought 7 of these and have been using them in an industrial setting with multiple users per light. We use them at 5:00am in the morning in the dark in remote areas setting up industrial equipment into deep manholes. These work really really well. The batteries last much longer than the packaging states. These lights are comfortable, bright and very affordable. Love them!!!!!
