Crazy bright. Compared with a spotlight on the side of a police cruiser (which I did) this is about 5x brighter. Don't know yet how fast it eats batteries, but this is the real deal. So bright that you can feel the heat of the light on your hand quickly. It's too bad that the beam isn't adjustable, but it's pretty impressive as-is for the price.
