Based on the positive reviews and a nice online chat I had on the manufacturer's website, I purchased 4 of the SEXY LEDS 4W (40W replacement) candelabra LED bulbs to replace the original 60W incandescent bulbs in the overhead lighting fixture for my interior entry. I also replaced my original electronic dimmer with a Lutron Maestro C-L control (Lutron MACL-153M-WH Maestro 150-Watt Multi-Location CFL/LED Digital Dimmer).
I'm happy to report that these SEXY LEDS candelabra bulbs work perfectly with the Lutron Maestro C-L dimmer. I did not have to make any adjustments for the LED bulbs to work across the full range of the Maestro dimmer. Both the product description on Amazon and the manufacturer's website warn that the SEXY LEDS bulbs do not work with "digital dimmers." I have had similar flickering issues with CFL's and LED's on my old electronic dimmers; the problem was resolved by the Maestro C-L dimmers, which are designed specifically for CFL and LED lights.
I had no problems with fit the bulbs screwed in the lighting fixture just fine and there were no issues with the height of the bulbs. As warned elsewhere these bulbs are quite a bit taller than the incandescent bulbs that they replace, due to the extended base that houses the electronics to drive the LEDs, so be aware of this when you consider these for your application.
Needless to say, I'm very satisfied with the results. Warm 2700K color temperature matches the other lighting in the house, brightness range is good with the Maestro dimmer, and I'm pleased that this light fixture will only draw 4 x 4 = 16 watts instead of the 240W from the original incandescent bulbs!

These are the only 40 watt equivalent candelabra style LEDs I have found. I used them to replace 60 watt incandescents and they look very nice. The light quality is excellent and is an easy incandescent replacement. They also seem as bright as the old 60 watt incandescents they replaced. The one problem I had was that they did not fit in all of the candelabra fixtures I had, including the ones we use a lot and wanted to replace with LEDs. Just above the part of the bulb that screws in, the metal flares out slightly. You might not notice this until you compare it to a regular incandescent. It is visible in the picture and is fairly easy to see if you zoom in. Some of my fixtures have ceramic that surrounds the metal portion where the bulb screws in. The flared out metal immediately above the screw prevented me from screwing the bulb all of the way into the fixture. Although it does screw in, it does not go down far enough to make a connection and would not light. Highly recommend.Best Deals for SEXY LEDS® LED Candelabra 40 Watt Replacement 320 Lumens E12
First the good news.. Finally. FINALLY. Someone created an actual usable Candelabra light bulb. I mean it's as bright as a regular bulb, what are those other guys thinking with the ones that are so dim I might as well have an old flashlight next to the light fixture. Now the bad news. Since these are LEDs the glass is purely decorative, and you can tell they knew this. This has to be the thinnest glass I've ever seen on a bulb. Also they seem a bit longer than Candelabras. Why???? It's just empty air space. I had a fixture that I couldn't use bright regular bulbs because it heated it up too much, these were my choice. Guess what? They're about 2mm too long. Then I discovered how flimsy the glass was because it literally broken in my hand when I unscrewed it (also so thin it didn't cut me). Of course without the glass it fit so here I am breaking 5 bulbs and prying the remnants of the glass off so I can use it. Works absolutely great, but so unnecessary that they ruined the designed. Second, and this was mentioned in another review -see that little metal lip above the screw in base?? That makes this screw in JUSSSSSST about 1 or 2mm short of reaching the contact in fixtures that have those ceramic bases that are exactly the size of the screw base (because duh that's all they need to be). Who was the moron that put that in there?? It's absolutely useless and prevents this from being used on some fixtures (of course in my case that means the fixture that's in a tight squeeze 13' ceiling space where I was hoping to never change a bulb again. Guys, you JUST missed the mark on this. Please, PLEASE change your design slightly and you'll sell a zillion of these. As for me? I'm off to dig up my soldering gun to see if I can modify the base....Honest reviews on SEXY LEDS® LED Candelabra 40 Watt Replacement 320 Lumens E12
I have two six light chandeliers which were creating too much heat with their 60 w bulbs. But attractive and bright candelabra LED bulbs are very difficult to find. The Philips are not bright enough. The Feit have too big a white base. These are great like a 40 W incandescent for a tenth of the wattage. Even better than these are the slightly higher 5 Watt Sexy LEDs sold on their website, not available thorugh amazon. Brighter and available in a much more attractive bent flame tip (compared to these torpedo shaped ones). I went through four brands until I found those which are superior in every way.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for SEXY LEDS® LED Candelabra 40 Watt Replacement 320 Lumens E12
The pictures do not do justice to this bulb. I tried myself, but with the same results :(What is so good is their appearance when lit. Each of the six little yellow squares shine brightly, with the closest thing to an incandescent bulb's look when lit that I have seen in any "new-tech". They look fine when not lit, but not nearly as bright.
The are brighter than the 40 watt incandescent bulbs that I replaced, and great at throwing rainbows via the beveled glass of the chandelier.
No country of origin is listed; however, the mangled English "Ideally [sic] for crystal chandeliers" suggest China. No mercury, but they are made of metall [sic], glass, plastic. (RoHS, so no lead either.)
