Much less expensive item than the ones that it replaced. Slightly higher capacity for less dollars blah, blah, blah to fill unnecessary space

I bought 7 of these for my bedroom recessed ceiling lighting in late August.

It is now mid-January (5 months later) and 4 have burnt out.

It is not the seller's fault. The seller is very good.

It is the fault of GE manufacturing.

Of my next batch of (same) bulbs, 3 out of 7 burnt out in 6 months.

Again, I lay blame on GE.

BTW: that head of GE is in bed with Obama.

That explains things.

Simply needed to have spares on hand when the next track light bulb burns out. These are not your normal flood light, which means they are hard to find at your local chain hardware store.
