These flameless candles have three big drawbacks: 1) they do not resemble waxed candles as much as other products, they look very plastic, 2) they require C batteries (2 each for a total of 6, so about 10 bucks) while other similar products use much less expensive AA, AAA, or watch batteries (which are often included), and 3) the unit I received has a faulty color mode on one of the candles -if you select a color all three will turn to it, but after about 10 minutes one of them will randomly switch to a different color. If you do not select the candle flicker (arguably the most aesthetically appealing mode) then the colors seem to stay consistent. For the price, an average product, but not great.

i guess these candles are ok..........they seem to have a mind of their own, however. i've taken to turning the switch off when not being used because they sometimes turn themselves on. some colors match when all three candles are set to the same color and some don't........it's not a huge difference, but noticible. not unhappy enough to whine, but not happy enough to give a glowing report.

very dimly lit. Far dimmer than any other flameless candles I have purchased. I assumed the 2 "C" batteries would have possible given a more intense light. Not so.

I agree with the previous reviewer that they sometimes switch on by themselves. I would have liked the light to be a little stronger and brighter as well. Overall ok but could be better.

These candles are bright, work easily with the remote, and add enough mood lighting to make them fun and useful. Worth every penny!
