I was a little skeptical about these lights because the package box looked damaged. Once I ran the wire (75 ft) and installed the lights, I waited patiently for the sunset. The lights came on and I was very pleased with the lighting effect. My neighbors were too, I got 3 compliments that same night. Because of the size of my yard I will probably have to buy extra lights. I wish the set came with two more path lights or one of each. I used the set for about 12 linear ft and that's about as far you want to space the 4 path lights. That means 4 ft on center but that's my preference. The spot lights were installed randomly.

After reading good reviews, I bought 12 coach lights and three spots. Worked for 8-9 months before they started to fail. LEDS appear to be OK but fixtures contain a circuit board that has become corroded and failed. Malibu offers no fixes... only to replace entire fixture at $35. Of the original 15 fixtures, only 5 are still working. Location is south Texas. Sandy soil with moist climate.

The lights look great, put out nice light and definitely will save money IF they last. Mine have been installed just over a year and my first coach light has failed. Just like the reviewer from Houston, it's the circuit board. However much money I am truly saving on electricity now appears will get eaten up by replacing the lights and/or circuit boards (which cost as much as a new light). Not cool Malibu! I have used the standard stuff from Malibu for the better part of 20 years, and will definitely be thinking about a different route when I am tired of replacing these poorly engineered lights.

The lights look great and give off a nice amount of light. The problem was that I had to return 3 out of 5 sets because the transformer was not functioning correctly or a light was broken. I have them across the front of my house an they do look really good.

fantastic light set, uses almost no power. I ordered a second set for the front of the house too. Very pleased, and you should not buy anything else.
