Works great, plug and play which was perfect for me, a gift for a teen's room. I didn't know the finer details, so I'll explain for those in the same boat as me. These lights are "3528" which means each bulb is a separate single color, alternating red, green, blue. So the remote has buttons for a bunch of other colors, but you don't have them. You still get the strobe etc. effects on the remote, but only with those three color options. If you want to be able to have all the different colors, you want "50-50" LED lights. These lights will have all three (red, blue, green) bulbs in one housing, thus being able to create tons of different shades. Also, the remote only works when pointed at the receiver, so it has to be mounted in a visible place. Good product, no complaints other than not knowing what the "3528" meant.

Got this so i could put behind my TV instead of an actual TV back lit kit that sells for at least 2-3 times the price. Totally worth the price. Had enough to evenly light completely around my 60 inch TV. Flexible enough to make slight turns but adhesive cant hold on sharp angles.
