-It's bright

-Very simple installation (remove sticker backing and press it onto a flat mounting surface)

-Durable, high-quality materials

-Relatively inexpensive for the functionality

CONS:

-The light color is a harsh, bluish-white color -nothing like the warm-white light given off by halogens. It really washes out the color of anything it illuminates.

-It is NOT a floodlight -rather it is a SPOTLIGHT -it projects a very narrow beam of light. For example, Under-Cabinet: 6-inch circle of light on the counter / Closet Ceiling: 3-foot circle of light on the ground.

BOTTOM LINE:

-If you don't mind that the light is narrowly-focused, bluish-white light, it offers functionality you won't find in the competition (motion sensor, dual brightness settings, auto-off timer) at a reasonable price.

Works great for under-counter, as the title implies.

Would not be good for anything else, as you do have to wave close to the light to turn on.

Also it says don't stare at the LED so, you wouldn't want to use it as a nightlight or stair light on a wall.

Light beam is narrow, and you cannot move it later, so hold it where you think you want it and turn it on before installing to check. No second chance!

These motion activated lights are great for use under kitchen cabinets or as a spotlight for display shelving. I removed the diffuser to get a wider field of light. Also saves on battery life by shutting itself off after 1 hour.

The lights work great as far as light output. I had assumed that these lights would turn on when entering a room, making them extremely useful, but you have to be within an inch of the sensor to activate it. In the dark, that means that you first have to find the light before you can turn it on. If motion sensing was greatly improved this would get 5 stars.

Works great use it as a nite light gives off plenty of light and does not bother my wife. Easy to use.
