After reading some of the comments, I hesitated buying this light but it came packaged nicely and it's very bright! It didn't have the UV radiation health tester but they say red or blue led lights at that intensity do not have harmful uv rays. Considering I used a gift card and paid less than $6 for it, I think it's well worth it. Anyone looking to use this product for red/blue light therapy will be happy. I don't know how long it will last but it's better than paying $179 for the same product with a different name.

I've used this item once before and didn't see any notable difference. I'm using it again on some poblano pepper seeds and hopefully I'll get some notable results. I'm conducting my own experiment in that I also planted some seeds in the same type peet pellets, two seeds per pellet. Half will be under the light and the other half just outside enjoying natures natural lighting... I'll post the results later if I'm able to update my posting.

Not sure how long ago I posted the above review, but here's the follow-up (I believe it was around 8 May). The seeds under the light broke through about 6 days before the seeds that were outside. I've put the seedlings side-by-side for a better comparison. The seedlings from outside are only slightly smaller than the ones under the light, hardly noticable. However, the leaves from the light infused seedlings are a noticeably darker and more vibrant green.

Not sure if this light is worth the cost, but primarily because of where I live, FL. It might be worth the cost if you live north where indoor planting is necessary during the winter months if you want to get a jump when the weather is ripe for planting. Good luck.

This is a nice light. It is very lightweight and arrived quickly. We use the light for acne purposes rather than as a plant light.

The LEDs were pretty much as expected bright & would have been perfect....EXCEPT all 4 lights we purchased had 1 or more rows of non-functional LEDs and the housing was pretty cheap plastic. This product needs better quality control.

putting the screws into the cardboard back ripped. Other then that I like the light and it was easy to put up.
