We just has the fixture installed. The reading lights are wonderful. They provide glare free gentle but bright light on the book you are reading or the task. The night light casts a soft blue light over the entire area which is great to get up at night without awakening your partner. The appearance is nice as well. What remains to be seen is wear and tear; some of these lights experience transformer failure early. But I recommend it.

Pros: Good design and accentuates our bedroom. I like the hard wire or lamp cord design.Cons: Did not work correctly out of the box. One of the push button switches was hot glued closed and one of the side metal panels fell off. Some surgery inside the back to get the glue off and some super glue for the panel fixed it right up.

We purchased this light since it was cheaper than the George Kovacs light a friend recommended. It arrived in record time, however when my husband installed it, the metal side plates on both sides fell off due to a lack of glue. This was easily fixed. After installation we realized that the button on the left light remained stuck and we had to pull it out with a pliers. I contacted StopLighting and they immediately contacted the manufacturer. A new button was in my hands within a week! When my husband went to install the new button, he found that there had been an excess of glue on the metal piece securing the button in place which prevented it from working properly. When he removed the glue and reglued it, we actually didn't need the new button. We really love the lights since we now can read in bed with adequate light, and have a great night light too! All in all, StopLighting did a great job! I gave it 4 stars just for the extra hassle, but it was purely an assembly line oversight.
