I have been looking for under cabinet lights for some time now. I tried battery powered but they did not give enough light and the batteries needed replacement often (even discharged when not using the lights). I wanted lights that I could install without hardwiring and keeping the wires hidden. I looked at a system at a local store that would have cost me over $800 to light the area (14'). I took a chance on these lights and I am glad I did! The installation could not have been easier and the results are great. The lighting is as good as the $800 set I saw set up in a local store. I was able to use the outlet in the cabinet above the microwave then drill a small hole for the wires to keep the wires hidden. The only tools needed were a drill and a screwdriver. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is the dimmer switch seems a bit cheap. If you are looking for good lighting that is easy to install this is it.
