This is larger than I thought;however, it doesn't make up for the fact that the candle is not what lights up it's a tiny light in the "lid" that shines down and casts a soft glow on the candle part. It is kind of cheap looking. If the candle itself lit up, it would look much nicer and have a more realistic effect. It does project a nice web pattern from the basket onto the table or whatever it is sitting on.

We've tried to contact the manufacturer to see if we can buy the solar disks for the top of these. We bought, 6, 3 worked after a month. Now having to figure out how to replace another one. Tried to put my own rechargeable batteries in but still not working.

Great price at $10/lantern (when they work, they look awesome). Any cost above that bad purchase.

I bought this item for about one third the price at target last season. For some reason, I thought I was buying four smaller sized lanterns (which I had still considered overpriced but only available seasonally at target). Apart from that, the product is great!
