The light is good. It does not hum, the color is as described but the idea that this bulb is dimmable is a joke.
Any bulb that dims up to 50% is NOT dimmable by anyone's standards.
I bought 16 of them hopping to replace all the recessed incandescent bulbs on my home at a cost of $640 total.... to have a product that does not dim....Replaced all flood lights in the house with these and much improved. Highly recommended if your budget allows. This is a focused light so don't expect a huge spread and looks good recessed.
