This lantern works great. It puts out a lot of light for doing any kind of work. you can use it for walking, fishing or anything else. This lantern also has a reflector so it won't blind you. If you have Hitachi tools with slide on batteries, this lantern is a great addition. This lantern also lights up a room pretty good when the power goes out. The only thing is its about three times the price of the other Hitachi lantern with insert batteries. The good thing about this lantern is that you don't have to buy three to eight D cell batteries. All you have to do is recharge the battery.
