Works in my lava lamp just as well as the original. And much easier (and cheaper!) than having to pick it up at Spencer's. Peace and molton wax.

UPDATE: 6/25/12: Light in our fridge went out a few months ago and this was the bulb that works so ordered a few more. Then light in the oven went out, same bulb. This seems to be the duct tape of utility bulbs! I now have an extra on hand...we'll see which one needs it first. My money is on the lava lamp...

I bought this bulb for a lava lamp. I tested it for about 3-4 hours and it seemed to work fine. The next day it blew out when I turned it on. I can't give it anything higher than a 1 for being a faulty product.

It's amazing how long the light in the oven lasts but like all good things, it comes to an end.

Pop in this bulb and we're probably in for many more years of solid service.

I wish there was a non-incandescent option, but I suspect it will be a while before you see another technology that can stand up to the temperature range required in appliance bulbs/

Our oven light blew, so we got this as a replacement. It's the exact same product, not much to write about an oven light that works other than it does the job!
