There are very pleasing bulbs for applications where you don't need a lot of light...they are probably equivalent to a 25W incandescent bulb. Light color/quality is great...nice soft white that looks very close to incandescent.
I've put a couple of these in my outside lights and use one in my bedside lamp for reading.
Only downside is they are a little spendy.
